Another Person Added to the RC Marketing Corporate Resolution

A quick search of the public records in New Zealand shows ANOTHER director being added to the Corporate Resolution by the name of Thankam Vaslilakos. A Google search turns up multiple articles about this lady and some transactions that she has been involved in, including this one.

I did contact Thankam by phone at a number that I found for her on the web. She informed me that she is a director for RC Marketing, but that it is illegal for me to contact her. She also threatened to call the FBI and said that she would see me in court as I had no right to contact her as a director for a corporate entity.

A Conversation with Westpac Bank

One of the four clients involved in the initial contracts received a letter from Gil on Citi letterhead indicating that paperwork was forthcoming on a Portland Cement deal. When I contacted the phone numbers on the paperwork that we received, I got overwhelming confirmation that we are probably not going to see our money EVER. The phone number to the Sr. Hedge Fund Manager is not correct. So, I contacted the banker at Westpac in New Zealand. The banker there confirmed for me that Paul Douglas and RC Marketing had opened accounts over two years ago with Westpac, but had not done any deals and had not deposited any funds. He said that the bank is "not happy with them" and that they had received "dribs and drabs" of paperwork via SWIFT, much of which had been forwarded to the bank's fraud investigation unit due to the unrealistic nature of it all. This banker had no faith in RC Marketing ever getting a deal done, much less us getting our money back.

Gil Freire continues to send emails to the clients indicating that they will be funded "this week". Week after week, the same emails that all is going well and we will be funded this week. This week never seems to come.

I have also attempted to contact several of the business contacts that I know RC Marketing has to make them aware of the situation. However, I do not get a response from any of them. So, I don't know if they are involved in the bigger scheme or if they are just in denial as to the facts of what is really going on. These gentleman have scammed at least $200K out of people that I know about and I have no idea if there are others around the world as well. They have not performed on any of their promises or contractual obligations in the 14 months that we have been working with them and now are sending documents that are clearly not legitimate out as "proof" that they are really working deals.

At approximately 2am EST, I was able to get Paul on the phone in New Zealand. After numerous emails from Gil to all parties involved over the past two weeks, I decided to try to get to the bottom of all the promises of funding that Gil had made to us. Paul was extremely rude and told me that "people in Europe are furious with me and want to come to the USA to see me." He also told me that was the only one standing between me and the "people in Europe." I informed Paul that I was not scared of his threats and that I would be happy to tell anybody that wanted to listen our story. He also told me numerous times during the conversation that we would have been funded weeks ago had it not been for my blog and that I am my own worst enemy. I reminded him that this blog was published on July 31, 2008, a full eight months after the last of our initial four deals was supposed to be funded and that I really didn't think that he could use this as an excuse. He used some profane language and hung up on me telling me never to call his number again.

Over the weekend, we were told by Gil that we would get an update today, Monday, December 1, 2008...it has now been a full year past when the last of our four deals was supposed to be funded and we have not even seen partial funding on any one of the four deals or repayment in any way to the group from whom Paul and Gil "borrowed" $100K back in April 2008, promising repayment within 3 weeks.

A phone call from Gil...

Late last night, I received a phone call from Gil. He gave me a myriad of excuses as to why this isn't done and told me that it is "my fault" because of all of the people that I have recently contacting regarding our situation. He said that this blog and my emails have "slowed them down" and made it difficult to do business.

Last week, I sent out an email to every email address that Paul and Gil had ever given to us or that was in any message that had ever been forwarded to us. Paul contacted Patrick to complain about what I was doing, but did not send any funds or close these deals.

October 26, 2008---More of the same

Here is another promise of "this week" from Gil...same thing we have heard over and over again throughout the past year...it is now Tuesday here in the US and going into Wednesday in New Zealand...still no definitive funding timeline, nor proof of funding capability.

After numerous inquiries by all parties involved as to why we were not getting any answers and why we still did not have funding, this was the response that was sent by Gil.

MY THROAT HURTS TO TALK BUT WE ARE FINE THE BANK WELL IS JUST SLOW GETTING THIS TO B OF A ILL SHOULD REALLY HAVE THIS THERE TOMORROW...ILL CALL YOU AT 1130AM ...OK HANG IN THERE..WE ARE ALMOST DONE..


**It is now October 28 and we still do not have any funding, nor a definitive timeline for funding***

Phone call from Gil:

Gil told me that this blog has prevented him from closing deals and therefore stopped him from being able to fund our deals. A demand letter for the deposit money on the Houston deal and the biodiesel deal was sent to Paul and Gil last Thursday afternoon giving them 72 hours to return the deposit money prior to a lawsuit being filed. According to Gil, Patrick and Paul are in negotiation to resolve those two deals.

Terry and Brett are still expecting funding and Gil told Terry today that he would be funded "late this week or very early next" due to the bank holiday today and wire transfer situation.

To date, the deals still have not been funded and Gil is now saying that he is going to get his phone number changed because he does not want me to be able to contact him.
